Through empowering parents during their childbearing year, wholistic support prepares women to embrace their birthing experience and offers guidance for the mother to birth in the way in which she intends. | Blossoming Bellies' Birth Stories Supporting the desire of women and families to make truly informed maternity care decisions is at the heart of Blossoming Bellies' mission. In an effort to uphold this, we are very excited to announce the start of our new blog! Our goal is to have women share their birth experiences in a way that will inform and educate expecting parents about different care providers in the Philadelphia area. Through sharing, we hope that women and families will celebrate, heal, and inform, helping to change the climate of maternity care in our country. Blossoming Bellies does not endorse or refute any particular care providers mentioned. We are providing this blog purely for the informational purposes of families in the community and as a way for women to easily connect with each other. Blossoming Bellies encourages all women, regardless of whether birth services were provided by us or not, to share their stories. By coming together, we can all make a difference in the experience of our children and our children's children. Please read both posts, "Our Purpose" and "When Sharing Your Birth Stories," prior to posting your story. Please write your experiences as replies to the post which is titled with your birth place.
