Thank you Brittany! I will definitely put into practice the information, strategies and techniques I learned in your workshop. I also appreciate your open and sincere teaching style.  You clearly have a genuine passion for  this very important aspect of labor and birth, and for sharing what you know. I can see why people return to your class again and again.
- Melissa Cook, Mother Me
Thanks again!  So much of the info from your class helped me guide two different moms through hospital VBACs this weekend.

Creating Space: Pelvic Dynamics and Fetal Positioning for an Efficient Birth
with Brittany Sharpe McCollum, CCE(BWI), CD(DONA), CLC
(an 8 hour full day workshop)

Creating Space is a movement based biomechanics approach to labor progress and comfort with the intention of reducing complications and unnecessary intervention.  Learn usable information for what labor positions and relaxation techniques to suggest at specific different points during the birth process and, most importantly, why certain techniques are more effective than others at certain times in labor.
This workshop is approved for 6 CEs through the PA Board of Nursing.  Please check with your certifying body to confirm that PA Board of Nursing credits can be applied to your profession and position.

Pelvic Shape, Fetal Positioning, and Obstetrical Bias:
The Role of Pelvic Classification and Optimal Fetal Positioning in the Perpetuation of Bias in Childbirth

with Brittany Sharpe McCollum, CCE(BWI), CD(DONA), CLC
(a 9 hour workshop divided into two half days)

Our newest workshop will change your perception on everything you’ve learned up until this point and will shift the way you support every birth you attend moving forward.
Join Brittany for a deep dive into the history of obstetrics and the role that pelvic classification, the theory of optimal fetal positioning, and scientific racism have played in perpetuating bias and contributing to increased intervention in childbirth through the modern day.

This workshop is approved for 6.5 CEs through the American College of Nurse-Midwives.  Please check with your certifying body to confirm that ACNM credits can be applied to your profession and position.

I just wanted to say Thank You again for opening your home and sharing your knowledge with us.  I learned a lot and would recommend it to other doulas seeking more information on the pelvis and rebozo work.  I also appreciate your quick follow up!
