Thank you so much for a wonderful class! We are so appreciative to have had a virtual option given everything going on in the world right now. It was comforting to hear about what to do with our newborn - especially some of the basics that we didn't even know we needed to know! :) - Megan H.

Infant Care Basics

This workshop is ideal for expecting parents.  Class topics include physical characteristics of newborns
and what to expect
in the first few hours and days after birth, basics of newborn behavior and physiology, signs of illness and knowing when to call the pediatrician, the basics of diapering, umbilical cord care, care for the circumcised and intact penis, and bathing.
Tips and suggestions for soothing a fussy baby are discussed as well including touch, massage, and swaddling.
The class also covers choosing safe bath and body products for your child and creating realistic expectations for the new family dynamic.
Class is interactive and discussion based
and handouts are provided.

Private classes are also available.  See the details below and then contact Brittany to set up a class.
